This article is about “Serrapeptase leonurus siegesbeckia”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Serrapeptase leonurus siegesbeckia”:

There are many different causes of infertility in both men and in women. The primary source of infertility in men is a low sperm count. This can be due to constitutional and environmental factors. Chinese medicine can be used to increase circulation and body temperature, which may help improve sperm count. The same herbs that are used for this purpose may also improve a man’s sex drive and sexual performance. There are a number of factors involved in female infertility as well. A frequent cause of infertility is a blockage of the fallopian tube that prevents the sperm and the egg from meeting. Polycystic ovarian disease may also interfere with timely release of the eggs. Other gynecological health issues can also cause infertility such as endometriosis, salpingitis, pelvic inflammatory disease, and chlamydia. At other times, there can appear to be no structural or physical condition that is causing the infertility. While Chinese medicine and aromatherapy cannot determine the physical factors causing infertility (diagnostic testing is required for that), they can often address some of the sources of infertility once the cause is discovered.

The Chinese herbs, Leonurus (Yi Mu Cao) and Siegesbeckia (Xi Xian Cao), when used together, have been shown to open up blocked fallopian tubes in clinical research studies done in China. The majority of women responded to treatment within 10 days. The blockages in these cases were due to thickening of the lining of the tubes, excessive mucous secretion, partial blockage with scar tissue, inflammation, or infection. One remedy that may work well to treat this condition in combination with Chinese herbs is the enzyme, serrapeptase. Serrapeptase breaks down scar tissue and cystic tissue in the body while promoting circulation.

For women suffering from polycystic ovarian disease, a number of herbs and essential oils may be useful. Saw palmetto berries are known to block the production of the type of testosterone known to cause the disease. Chasteberries may help reduce the tendency towards formation of ovarian cysts and help balance out a woman’s hormones. Cypress essential oil used externally may also reduce the formation of cysts. Generally, women with this condition often need to have Damp Heat cleared from the Lower Burner, in Chinese medicine terms. They often also suffer from Kidney Yin Deficiency, and from Qi and Blood Stasis in the Lower Burner.

For women whose mucous secretions kill their husband’s sperm, their could be a condition of excess congestion and acidity in the body that can be balanced out through dietary and lifestyle changes along with the use of herbs and essential oils. Changing the body’s chemistry through holistic means may increase the likelihood of conception.

There are also a number of essential oils that can help to balance out a woman’s hormonal and reproductive system while promoting fertility. Geranium, clary-sage, and rose essential oil all nourish a woman’s system and help to bring it back into homeostasis.

Many times, there is no diagnosable reason or cause for infertility. In these cases, Chinese medicine can be highly effective in bringing back a woman’s mind, body, and spirit into harmonious balance, making her more receptive to conception.

Chinese herbs can also be used to maintain a healthy pregnancy once conception has occurred. Certain herbs such as xu duan(teasel root) and tu si zi(cuscuta), have traditionally been used to discourage miscarriages and promote a healthy pregnancy. A certain percentage of miscarriages are unpreventable (25%) because they are triggered by genetic abnormalities in the fetus, but in other cases, herbs may help increase the probability of carrying a pregnancy through a full nine month term.

As you can see, there are a wide variety of ways in which Chinese Medicine and aromatherapy can be used to improve a couple’s likelihood of conceiving a child, while preparing the woman emotionally and physically for conception and pregnancy.

This article is about “Www.treatmentblockedtubes”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Www.treatmentblockedtubes”:

Infertility is defined as an inability to conceive or carry a pregnancy to term, after one year of unprotected, regular intercourse. The cause of infertility can be traced to either or both of the male and female partner. Sometimes the cause of infertility remains unknown.

Female infertility accounts for 35-40 % of overall infertility. Treatment depends upon the specific identifiable cause. Ayurvedic herbal treatment of female infertility is discussed below.

Ovulation disorder is the most common female infertility factor. This most often occurs because of a disturbance in the reproductive system involving the hypothalamus (an area in the brain), pituitary gland, adrenal glands, thyroid gland, the ovaries and the uterus. This disturbed cycle can be normalized by using traditional Ayurvedic formulations like Chandraprabha Vati, Yograj Guggulu, Ashokarishta and Dashmoolarishta. Herbal medicines useful in this disorder are: Ashoka( Saraca indica), Dashmool (Ten Roots), Shatavari (Asparagus racemosus), Aloes (Aloe vera), Guggulu (Commiphora mukul), Hirabol (Commiphora myrrha) and Harmal (Paganum harmala).

Ovulation problems caused due to polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) can be treated using Latakaranj ( Caesalpinia crista), Varun ( Crataeva nuevula), Kanchnaar (Bauhinia variegata) and Guggulu. Thyroid gland disorders are treated using Arogya Vardhini, Kanchnaar Guggulu and Punarnava Guggulu. Adrenal gland disorders are treated using Gokshuradi Guggulu, Gomutra Haritaki, Punarnava (Boerhaavia diffusa), Saariva (Hemidesmus indicus) and Deodar (Cedrus deodara). Pituitary gland tumors (which secrete excess prolactin) may be treated with Kanchnaar Guggulu, Panch Tikta Ghruta Guggulu, Guduchi (Tinospora cordifolia), Amalaki (Emblica officinalis), Mogra (Jasminum sambac) and Musta (Cyperus rotundus). Diabetes is treated using medicines like Gudmar (Gymnema sylvestre) and Amalaki. Obesity is treated using Medohar Guggulu, Amalaki, Psyllium (Plantago ovata) and Lashuna (Alium sativum). Psychological stress is treated using Brahmi (Bacopa monnieri), Jatamansi (Nardostachys jatamansi) and Vacha (Acorus calamus). Excessive exercise and weight loss too can result in ovulation problems.

Premature ovarian failure (POF), though comparatively rare, is an important cause of female infertility. This condition can be treated using Ashoka, Dashmool, Chandraprabha, Shatavari, Guduchi, and Jeevanti ( Leptadania reticulata). These medicines can be given in addition to hormone replacement therapy.

Blocked fallopian tubes, adhesions (scar tissue) and pelvic inflammatory disease may also result in infertility. Medicines like Kaishor Guggulu, Triphala Guggulu, Guduchi, Kutki (Picrorrhiza kurroa) and Punarnava can be used in these conditions. A treatment modality called “Uttar-Basti” may also be used for blocked tubes and minimal adhesions . Large fibroids and gross structural abnormalities are best treated surgically.

Cervical mucus can react with the sperm, either blocking penetration (usually due to an infection) or killing the sperm (because of the presence of antibodies). These conditions can be treated using herbal medicines like Vata (Ficus bengalensis), Ashwatha (Ficus religiosa), Udumbara (Ficus glomerata), Plaksha (Ficus infectora), Shirisha (Albizia lebec),Haridra (Curcuma longa), Yashtimadhuk (Glycerrhiza glabra), Saariva and Manjishtha (Rubia cordifolia).

Women who are underweight or have a small, undeveloped uterus or cervix can be treated using medicines like Shatavari, Ashwagandha (Withania somnifera), Vidarikand (Pueraria tuberosa), Ksheervidari (Ipomoea digitata), Bala (Sida cordifolia), Samudrashok (Argyria speciosa), Nagbala (Grewia hirsuta), Shrungatak (Trapa natans) and Yashtimadhuk.

Some women do conceive, but are unable to retain the pregnancy till full-term. This can happen because of an incompetent os (a loose opening of the cervix – the mouth of the uterus), genetic abnormalities in the fetus (unborn child), or because of an immunological reaction to infections (usually referred to as TORCH infections). Surgical ligation, along with other treatment and complete bed-rest, usually takes care of an incompetent os. Immunomodulatory treatment can be given using Guduchi, Kantakari (Solanum xanthocarpum), Brihati (Solanum indicum), Gokshur (Tribulus terrestris), Bhrungraj (Eclipta alba), Yashtimadhuk, Pippali (Piper longum), Bharangi (Clerodendrum serriatum), Padmakashtha (Prunus cerasoides), Rasna (Pluchea lanceolata) and Manjishtha.

The ancient Ayurvedic texts mention various herbal formulations which can be given throughout the nine months of pregnancy to prevent abortion, and help optimum healthy growth of the fetus. Known physical and organ defects and genetic abnormalities running in the family, can be addressed using these medicines a few months in advance of attempting conception. For example, some couples may want to improve skin color, height or intelligence; yet others may want to avoid heart disease and lung problems like asthma, in their future children. Even healthy couples may make use of such herbal formulations.

This is, thus, a short description of the various causes of female infertility and their Ayurvedic herbal treatment.

This article is about “Fertility drugs disadvantages”, you can find here a huge variety of articles about “Fertility drugs disadvantages”:

The most important thing in life for a woman is maybe the birth of a child. But many woman have irregularities in the ovulation cycles and they get pregnant very difficult. Not all the women have the ability to conceive naturally. Infertility by nature is a complex condition, many methods are required before any possible diagnosis is created.

In order to increase the chances of getting pregnant, women with infertility problems consults doctors and get treatment with fertility pills. Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is the most common problem women have that keeps them from ovulating.

Since is cheap and easy to take (pill form not injections), one of the most common drug for infertility problems is Clomid (Clomiphene citrate). The drug stimulates the ovulation process. The main three hormones in the ovulation process are:

o	Gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)

o	Luteinizing hormone (LH)

o	Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH).

Although it has a potential to cause hair loss, women consider that worth the risk. But it is not the only side effect of this drug. Clomid can cause multiple births: twins, triplets, quantruplets and quintuplets. Other side effects are: increase in appetite, depression, mood swings, nausea and vomiting, breast tenderness, headache, acute abdominal discomfort, diarrhea, bloating, dermatitis or dizziness (fatigue).

Clomid is very effective – 80% begin to ovulate and 40-45% of those women get pregnant in at most 6 cycles.

The best way is to discuss with your physician about all advantages and disadvantages. After that you can decide to try this medicine. Discuss all the options with your doctor.

This article is about “Infertility stress”, we hope to bring more articles about “Infertility stress” in the near future:

Most infertility treatments and infertility doctors ignore the psycho-spiritual component of fertility boost. In other words, the mind-body connection is the missing link in infertility management. It appears that we have lived our lives as humans that we have forgotten that we are primarily spirits trying to have a human experience. Man is a spirit, he has a soul and live in an earth suit called the body. Anything or chemical impulse that happens in the body affects the soul (mind, core of the soul) and the spirit–the real you. Particularly for women, stress affects her mind, mood, and manners. When the soul overflows its banks, it spills into the body and the spirit. Sex hormones and reproductive organs are particularly subject to all kinds of emotional, mental and physical stress or distress. Worry, anxiety, regrets, tension, concern, fear and depression have all been described in an infertile woman. Women are particularly prone because a woman is a bag of hormones and emotions. This is also the aspect that most reproductive endocrinologists tend to trivialize.

When a woman is stressed, the sympathetic nervous system goes into overdrive to trigger the body to produce more of the stress hormones and less of the calming hormones. This imbalance negatively affects fertility. Imbalances also create oxidation, inflammation and fibrosis. Estrogen goes up to the detriment of progesterone and testosterone.

For these imbalances–marked by fatigue, low blood sugar, abdominal bloating, pelvic congestion, decreased immune function, irregular periods, poor complexion, mental fog, and irritability–I normally recommend a blend of tension-relieving herbs (valerian, chamomile, and hops), which relax the body and allow hormones to naturally adjust, increasing fertility. I get this my favorite tension-reducing herbal blend from Swanson’s Vitamins. It works well for nervous, restless, impatient and exhausted women. The recommended dosage is three capsules a day–usually in the evenings–to help enhance fertility.

Phillis Light add a tincture of agrimony and blue vervain to the mix depending on type of stress or tension involved. Agrimony is excellent for infertile women with poor digestion and fat metabolism who are experiencing mental tension. Blue vervain is great for strong-willed women who want control over their lives. These category of infertile women tend to have tight necks, and shoulders and often fall ill because distress overflows into physical sickness. Mix 10 drops of the tincture (agrimony and blue vervain) from an eye-dropper into half cup of warm water twice daily.

Most herbalists allow these natural remedies about three months–the duration of natural biorhythm cycle–to take effect. The herbs are safe and there are no contraindications, and it does not matter to become pregnant while taking these herbs. However, avoid mixing valerian and alcohol together because valerian can potentiate the effect of alcoholic beverages.

Do not also forget the role of relaxation, positive thinking, positive visualization, cognitive restructuring and prayer. Meeting with infertility support group is also encouraged. Massage and biofeedback techniques has been suggested.
